Prepackages

In 1979 I was involved with training Inspectors of Weights & Measures in the UK for the then new ‘average’ system for packages. Subsequently was advisor to the National Metrological Coordinating Unit providing technical advice on Codes of Practices for various product sectors.

Since then involved in assessing quantity controls systems at packers’ and importers’ premises and carried out compliance checks using the specified ‘reference test’.

Equipment

Over 30 years experience in checking compliance of various weighing and measuring instruments used for trade purposes, including verification to legal requirements.

Assisting competent departments, standards organisations and businesses in various countries implement the requirements for prepackages and instruments, including Lithuania, Malta, Spain, Croatia and Korea.
